Spring 2010 I have three
premieres: the Calder Quartet
plays "Skrzyp Skrzyn" as part of the 2010
MATA Festival April 20, Defenestration premieres "An outside with an inside in
it" at Franklin Pierce University May 2 and 3, and TimeTablePercussion premieres a new work on June 20. More info on

In October, I spent an
amazing week at the state-of-the-art concert hall
at EMPAC with members the International Contemporary Ensemble,
recording 5 pieces I have written for them over the last couple of
years. The disc will be available Fall 2010, including an LP release on
180 gram vinyl.
Claire Chase's debut solo cd is out and begins
with my piece "pneApnea". More info is available at New
Focus Recordings.
Doug Perkins
recorded "Simple Songs of Birth and Return" for mbira and electronics.
It will be on Doug's forthcoming solo disc, but for now you can hear it

Memory Spaces,
my debut solo cd, includes three of my pieces for percussion and other
objects with electronics, as well as Kaija Saariaho's gorgeous "Six
